Dive-site story
Bergse Diepsluis sits at the eastern end of the Oosterschelde along the Oesterdam dike. Shielded behind a lock barrier away from main tidal channels, water movement remains gentle compared to other Zeeland sites. The area features shallow clay plateaus, oyster beds, and human-made sepia frames installed for breeding cuttlefish each spring.
