Dive-site story
Resting upside down along the sloping reef of Sha'ab Mahmoud, the British steamship SS Dunraven broke apart on Beacon Rock while en route from Bombay to Newcastle. Sunlight pierces through fractures in the inverted hull to illuminate cavernous interior spaces. Divers descend to the stern and propeller, pass through the boiler room, and exit near the bow reef.
