Dive sites in Cyprus

Along the rocky Protaras coastline near Cape Greco, natural archways, shallow swim-throughs, and a roof opening known as The Hole define the terrain. Overhead light cuts through the aperture to illuminate sand patches set among Posidonia oceanica meadows. The protected limestone shelf provides access for introductory cave and cavern skill practice.

Resting on her port side outside Larnaca harbor, the Swedish roll-on/roll-off ferry sank on her maiden voyage with articulated lorries still chained to cargo decks. The wreck supports varied dive profiles: exterior routes track the starboard hull and superstructure, while penetrations navigate accommodation quarters, the cafeteria, the bridge, and vehicle holds. Predatory fish gather around the exterior structure, framed by intact propellers and spilled cargo.
