Dive-site story
Rainbow River provides a spring-fed freshwater drift dive through central Florida. Entering upriver near KP Hole Park, divers float over beds of eelgrass and white limestone sand carried by the continuous current. Spring boils percolate through the riverbed, venting plumes of sand into the water column. The shallow drift serves well for testing gear and photography.
