Sunk during the Allied assault on Guam in WWII, the Japanese freighter Kitsugawa Maru rests upright on the Apra Harbor seabed. Her superstructure, mast, and deck gear remain intact. Descending the mooring line reveals the bow deck gun still trained skyward, with encrusting sponges and hard corals coating the surrounding railings.
