Dive-site story

What makes this site worth diving

Caieiras sits on the Mar de Fora coast near Fernando de Noronha's northeastern tip, featuring shallow reef terrain of basaltic boulders and scattered coral heads. Direct exposure to the open Atlantic brings surge and lower visibility during the trade wind season. In the shallow channels, juvenile lemon sharks patrol over southern stingrays and hawksbill turtles resting on the sand.
