Dive-site story

What makes this site worth diving

Intentionally scuttled off Khor Fakkan in 2001, the former oil field supply boat Inchcape 1 sits upright on a sandy seafloor at 30 meters. Over two decades submerged, soft corals and sponges have encrusted the exterior superstructure. The deck rests at 22 meters, where divers track hunting trevally and locate resident honeycomb moray eels.

Plan this dive with care

  • Diving to 30 meters demands strict monitoring of non-decompression limits.
  • Silt accumulation and restricted access points limit hull penetration.
